[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

Thank you for your kindly answers, I redesigned my circuit using the typical application design on the datasheets, and now it works fine. Here is the datasheet that I used, and also it has all components calculations. (UC3845A datasheet from TI) thanks all again

[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

Yes, I totally agree with you I checked this application note from Onsemi "an1327-d application note from onsemi " On figure.8 I couldn't see the Vref pin of the IC on this circuit schematic. But the used IC has Vref pin !

[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

I checked this application note from Onsemi "an1327-d application note from onsemi " on figure.8 they connected the FB to ground directly, and also I couldn't see the Vref pin of the IC on this circuit schematic. 1664909345 HI there, No, this circuit not from the datasheet. Because the...

[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

I got it from an engineer works on the power electronic field but nowadays, he is not available for that I could not ask him about this problem. So you say that the problem on the feedback part, right ? This is the datasheet I found https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/uc2842b.pdf but...

[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

scope's shots You are correct, I use DC voltmeter to measure the voltage, and it shows me steady voltage value (15v) without any fluctuating. But when I plug the oscilloscope prop to the output of the circuit as it shown above, the minimum voltage is 13.60V and the maximum voltage is 16.80V...

[SOLVED] Isolated Flyback SMPS- High ripple on the output voltage?

Hi dear team, I made a switched mode power supply circuit using UC3845. And I made the circuit on the lab using flyback transformer from Würth elektronik https://www.we-online.com/catalog/datasheet/750311771.pdf The output of the circuit should be 15v. I made the circuit as shown on the...

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

Yes, even no load, the 24 output can not be maintained. Why ? Isn't the purpose of the feedback system to stabilize the system? What do you mean with typical load ? Thank you for this advice, I looked to some schematics and I found all of them have feedback from all the outputs of the...

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

what do you mean by "lack of regulation / loop closure" ? 1661792846 I attached the circuit schematic below. I attached also the datasheet of the transformer below and I attached also PCB file (Allium Designer file) below

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

Yes , this is another problem happend when I added load on the outputs.

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

I made my feedback as shown on the schematic below [removed link] What do you mean with test setup ? Do you mean how I test the PCB on the lab ? I am sung the multimeter to measure the output voltage and oscilloscope to check all test points. here is the datasheet of the transformer that the...

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

Thank you for replying, I have attached the schematic above, please check it. 1661596343 Thank you very much, Mr Klauss for your helpful answer, I have attached the schematic above, please check it. As you guessed yes I am using Flyback topology, and I am taking the feedback from the higher...

Is using Voltage Regulator for FPGA & MPU a good option ?

Hi I have designed a switched mode power supply circuit using UCC28C42 IC, the circuit should work with wide range input of 40 -350 DC. The circuit have multiple outputs (24v, 10v, -10, 5v and 3.3v). I have manufactured and custom transformer with thesis parameters from local manufacturers. I...

AC or DC input to DC output SMPS circuit design

    The output should be like that 1. Output is 24v with 0.5A 2. Output is 10v with 0.8A 3. Output is -10v with 0.8A 4. Output is 5v with 0.5A 5. Output is 3.3v with 1A Sincerely,
