Hello everyone,

For a sensor based controlling unit project, we require a Zigbee (CC2530 preffered) embedded (or suitable) single board computer (SBC) that runs on Android 4.0+. We have examined Raspberry Pi, CubieBoard, ODroid, Olimex A13 and such SBCs.

We wonder that which SBC is more suitable for our demands; taking sensor datas from transmitting zigbee and show them on an application on Android. Interface for the application is ready, sensor datas are ready, we just want to implement the software into a SBC that can recognize Zigbee interface and runs the application. We also need to connect a LCD to the system.

We have heard that;
*SBC BL4S100 Series cost too much.
*Raspberry Pi is not stable with Linux / Android.
*ODroid has a weak forum web site and number of users are low.
*Olimex does not recognize Zigbee dongle from USB.

Would anyone who have worked with these SBCs suggest any advantages/disadvantages? According to all these information, you can suggest another SBC to design our system.

Thanks in advance.
