There is a model given in the following link, "Accurate Zero-Crossing Model" It is a MATLAB simulation model. Can someone please give me some proper explanation on the model and its components, why these components are useed and how this detect zero crossing points?, also can someone give me an explanation on outputs of this model,

I want a Matlab simulation model for Zero crossing detection.I am trying to model it for Grid synchronization with solar power inverter. can anybody give me a help to build this model???
