intel dx5400 xs

thanks plasma

does it support ddr3

xeon x5355

For series 5400 the max memory clock for the moment is 800MHz it depends on the Intel 5400 Chipset look at: http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/5400/index.htm

Hp new workstation works with 667MHz
**broken link removed**

or you can use desktop based on this ASUS motherboard up to ddr3 1333 and over clocking 1800
**broken link removed**
but you have to wait until Intel will come up with 45nm dual or quad for desktop.
there is another one
**broken link removed**
can use DDR3 1600 and over clocking 2000MHz

all of this depend on the chipset the first X38 and for the second X48
