Hi,

RF is not my area but am looking to transmit some simple , low speed, data up to 200ft outdoors and then into a house what has very thick stone walls. ( those ASK 433mhz type units cannot penetrate those walls. )

While I can see the manufacturers datasheets giving the ranges for l.o.s and within buildings I wondered how effective a standard Xbee board would be in that situation or is a Xbee Pro really needed ?

thanks
