we are group built project of home automation using power line communication using pic 16f877 , we get the project from microchip and the code also , but we didn't have any result on lcd

Post the project and the code you use , but did you check you have the include file for the lcd.

hello sir,
i m also working on x10, i m download the app note AN236 and code zip file too but i have a prblm with it when i want to build my code in mplab simulator, build is failed although i included every files, one msg is displayed on output window is that
