Wrap around microstrip antenna - conformal antennas

There must be an elegant way to do it. Mechanical Engineers might know 'folding algorithms', i.e take a 2D sketch and wrap it around ANY closed (or unclosed curve)
 

There are software packages availabile (some free) that sheet metal fabricators use. These packages take a 3d shape, like a complex car muffler joint, and layout how you would cut it out of a sheet of metal before folding it. Look for those.
 

Hi,

I found a software with curve segments called **broken link removed**, which permit to model curved shapes. I put a perfect conductor ground plane and an average dielectric constant to model microstrip antennas. It has a trial version.
