i am designing my own flyback transformer for LT8302. So for calculation of no. of turns and the the selection of the ferrite core size.. what should i put in the switching frequency?
I believe it is a variable frequency ic depending on load..

and pls confirm if i can use an n97 EE ferrite core.

A flyback transformer will be dimensioned for main inductance and peak current. Operating frequency only matters regarding core losses and winding AC resistance (skin and proxmity effect), you would put in the maximum frequency indicated in the datasheet.

and pls confirm if i can use an n97 EE ferrite core as the highest frequency is coming out as 112khz
