This question is regarding WiFi Physical layer. I am not sure whether this the appropriate site to ask this type of question. If not, I am open to suggestions.
I have read in a book that
*a Short Training Field (STF) contains ten repetition of a 0.8 $\mu s$ symbol*.
I am wondering why this is the case if the STF is defined based on the following *frequency domain sequence*
$\{ 0,0,1+j,0,0,0,-1-j,0,0,0,1+j,0,0,0,-1-j,0,0,0,-1-j,0,0,0,1+j,0,0,00,1+j,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,-1-j,....\}$
Note that the sequence uses 12 subcarriers of 52 and a 64 IFFT creates 1 3.2$\mu s$.
