[SOLVED] Wiring PIC to GSM Module(Confused, pls help)

Hi guys, Please help me figure this one out.. I'm a bit confused about the connections..
Do I need to connect the ground of the PIC microcontroller to the ground of the GSM module in order to work??

Yes. You have to connect GND of PIC to GND of GSM.
