I do not think the broadcast frequency needs to be tuned, except to its own transmitting antenna.
You do need to tune the receiver. It has to resonate to the transmitting frequency. I don't know if you require two inductors. Maybe just an LC loop.
The concept is like an old-fashioned crystal radio receiver, the kind that has no power supply. The broadcast itself contains sufficient power for you to pick up the signal.
