Hi everyone

I am simulating a Log-periodic antenna in HFSS. In the beginning I had got the planar version with surfaces only, it takes about 10 mins to be done . Then I tried to do the wired version simulating only the periferial shape making the path with very thin cylinders joined. Unfortunately latter simulation took almost 2 hours to be done 8-O . I am asking any advice to do it saving more time.

Thanx!

defeature your wires by setting the number of sides on the cylinders to a non-zero value, I suggest 4 or 6, speeds up meshing. use HPC options if you have the licenses. Use fast sweep if narrowband.
