Hi All,

For measurements on a dual-band 2.4/5GHz WiFi antenna (printed IFA), we guess there are somewhat leakage current on the outer conductor of test cable connecting to the antenna under test. Could you please recommend some parts like ferrite and balun module (two ports) with SMA connectors? Thank you so much.

Best regards,

Instead of a "module" or balun, I suggest something like below, particularly for wide band.

These ferrite beads can also slip over an U.FL connector.

Thank you, FvM.

Are there any balun modules with SMA connectors available for those test? I was told that balun+ferrite provide more measurement accuracy.

A PIFA has a single-ended feed line, thus I don't see the purpose of a balun.
