Wide Directional Dual Polarized Base Station Antenna

URGENT !!!

I just start this project of my master ....and I feel little bit lost ( I do not have a strong knowledge on antennas before...)and I dont know by what should I start ?
I need advices how can I acheive this or steps that can I follow in my design or in my reseaches ?

BTS antenna usually design base on dipole antenna but kumar et al worked on some other which u can find at his book
but kia fong lee et al have been worked on planar slot antenna for this application

If you do not have a strong background in antennas, I would first suggest to look at a good book for the fundamentals of antenna design, perhaps Antenna theory by Balanis.

Since you are just beginning, start slowly and review the basics.
