what does mean by EVENT ?

What's the use of events in I2C ?

Please Elaborate !!!

In general, 'event' just means activity, i.e. a device wishing to transmit. Is that what you're referring to? I can't think of any other relevant point concerning I2C in this regard.

There is written INTERRUPTS/EVENTS in I2C. So I am asking here what does mean by EVENT here.

Or WHAT is EVENT doing here???

It's just a word. It means the same as interrupt if it says interrupt/event.

Where do you see events mentioned related to I2C?

Can you provide a link of where you read it?
