why need those 10K resistors to reduce input impedance?

The ISL59441 has input buffer but why need those 10K resistors to reduce input impedance?

I assume they are to prevent the inputs floating, provide a DC reference point and supply the input bias current, not to reduce input impedance.

See those series caps? What do you think the gate's output would be without those pull down resistors?
 
You mean those 10K resistors are for making smooth edge?

No. Because the inputs are capacitively coupled you need to fix the DC level of the chip to somewhere - you cannot just let it float around.
