LC oscillators are implied for high frequency generation not for low frequencies generation...why it is so...
similarly wien bridge and RC phase shift oscillator are used to generate low freq. not for high frequencies...
why there exists a perfect demarcation for the two? what will if wien bridge and RC phase shift oscillator are used to generate high freq as well LC osc to from low freq.

Re: LC oscillators

electronics_kumar,
Inductors for low frequency use are physically large. For reduced size, they typically use feromagnetic cores, which suffer from losses and non-linearity. Also, in Wien bridge oscillators, the frequency is adjusted by varying resistor values, typically using potentiomenters. This is much easier than trying to vary capacitance or inductance.
