Hello,

In circuit for DC power supply, ground reference is required, is it necessary? with out ground reference what will be happen?

Hi,

It's not clear what you mean.
Every voltage measurement needs two connections. Often one is called GND.
Every power supply needs two "outputs", often one is called GND.
This means they have a GND reference.

But don't mix it with "earth ground". Earth ground is not essential.

Hello,

Why ground reference is required? if i connect with out ground reference what would be happen??

Current flows in loop. If you won't connect GND to it, Circuit tries to find the path for current to flow in some other ways. If not found, current won't flow. Circuit may/may not operate. You can't create such a hypothetical scenario.
