why from 90 nm to 65 nm.n not to 50nm, 60 nm ,70nm???
please reply..

moore's law:
90/sqrt(2) is approx = 65
65/sqrt(2) is approx = 45
45/sqrt(2) is approx =32
and then 22 ,but after 22 i thinks intel is goin for 18

Hi Sudeer,

Industry is now not following the Moore's law of sqrt(2) equation. No company is ready to spend on R&D for 32nm and 22nm. Most companies are now trying to focus on 40nm which gives a small advantage over the 45nm. Also most companies are trying to focus on other techniques like backbias libraries at 90nm,,, than directly falling into the 32nm,, for obvious cost purposes.

Chethan
