Which temperature sensor works like DS1620?

DS1620

the DS1620 is a great temperature sensor from dallas semi. do you guys know any other temperature sensor that works like this one? it sends its data in parallel, leaving the serial port of the micro free for other stuff.

HI there :D

How about DS1820 which communicates with the host microcontroller via a single wire. And also the SHT11 from Sensitron.
Using the SHT11, you can measure both temperature and humidity (and dewpoint) at the same time. You may find information about these two devices by doing some search on the Elektroda :).

DS1821 have 2 operating modes, 1-wire and thermostat. In the thermostat mode, the DS1821 leaving the mcu free for other stuff :D
