Which relay should be selected?

i have a lock whose operating voltage is 12V DC and current required to activate it is 900mA. Which relay should i use? What should be its specification?

You know the specifications shd be slightly more than the requirements... I think using a transistor is enough for 12V output..

Should it be 15V 1000 mA ?

yeah minimum contact voltage and current, Select the coil voltage according to your circuit supply....
