Let's say we refer to a commercial power mosfet IRFP4668PbF

Which parameter of the power mosfet will degrade or drift over long time?

I read an IEEE article mentioning that "... the behavior of the power inverter changes slowly over time..." Is this statement true? If YES, which parameter that will cause the changes?
