which Linux is best for Synopsys's CAD tools?

did you ever try to run Synopsys's CAD tools, such as VCS , Designware....,
on Intel-based PC ?
what kind of OS did you install? Red Hat Linux?
 

red hat 8.0 in think is the best in terms of compatibility towards eda.it allows u to run all eda tools .so i go with rh 8.0

RedHat Linux is good for you, I think.
AMD-based is getting powerful. you may try it.
