[SOLVED] Which is the best layout tools?

Virtuoxx is by no means the de-facto standard tool for layout. i used it starting from 9502 version and now it's IC50
However, it has a little problem when the database is large and the loading even in fast machine
like BLADX2000 is slow as well.
There's another so-called problem since it requires lots of licenses for each little feature and so you need to take care when you get this software and check what kinds of features you are having.
 

tools from Tanner EDA seem like easier to use than Cadence ic.
 

Laker is good for a Virtuoso user.


Any one can't say whish is the best layout tool objectively. There are no good statemens or good reasons. In my opinion this is only wasting of forum's resources.

I stop that and close the topic.
