casn snybody tell me about a backend/physical desing'
book which gives detaisl of actual
backend related issues
such as clock skew.clokc tree,insertion delay,die size
tapout isuues
drc.lvs,SI,crosstalk,electromigration etc..

the posssible title may be :‘the art of layout‘.

hi,
As I know, there is not such a book. the material you want is dipend on your experience. not the book.

the book "IC Mask Design"

I think some EDA vendor documents,
such as Synopsys, Mentor Graphic, ...etc
When they introduce their product, they also tell us some concept about back-end releated issues.
Yes, certainly, experience is very important!!! :?

Backened field is very vast ,
U should start from CMOS Basics,
U can start with CMOS Integated Circuit Design by Westle.

VLSI Physical Design Automation is an excellent
book. Covers a lot of backend issues and the
explanation is crisp and clear.

hi, arpen_san
where can we get the book you mention?
thanks.

CMOS by Baker and Li is also use ful

you should read more and more on Razavi's book.
