Which H-bridge IC can control two 12V DC motors from the o/p pins on a micro ?

Hey,

I need to find an appropriate H-bridge IC to control two 12V DC motors from the o/p pins on a microcontroller. I have not dealt with h-bridges before so I am not sure which device I should choose. preferably a dual device.
Any help would be great!

what current? One solution is L298 .

Have a look at the circuit below ..
It is an example of a simple, low current H-bridge, which can be controlled directly by a mocrocontroller: speed (PWM) and direction) ..
