for strting with digital electronics u can refer book by moriss mano on digital systems
thats basic book included in most of the undergraduate syllabus, also if u want to study digital electronics alongwith their vhdl and verilog descrptions, u can refer to book deigital electronics by wakerley

Most textbooks don't have too many worked out examples, which I think is what you are asking. For extensive problems, I would take a look at a Schaum's Outline series or something like it. Take a look at the following to see if it is what you want. The amazon link let's you search inside the book -- at least the table of contents.
