Which Antenna for 750MHz

For antenna lab our group get 750~MHz antenna design. We will get point according to efficiency. we considered microstrip antenna but to tell the truth we don 't know from which we can get enough result. For this frequency which type antenna should we use.

regards,

Re: Which Antenna for 750MHz

I think you would prefer Microstrip antenna. Because it is cost-effective and i think your teacher likes this design choice. And you can find kinds of examples in net for 750MHz design with interesting appearance.

good lucks,

Re: Which Antenna for 750MHz

efficiency? what do you mean for efficiency?
If do you mean the omhic loss, so µstrip and other antenna may be good enough.
If you mean illumination efficiency (when you'll use as reflector illuminator) as large the antenna is , as efficently is. In this case a NON dielectric based antenna is better. Think to the dipole or the log-periodic, or the chocked horn (the best one).

Re: Which Antenna for 750MHz

well i recommend u next way ,, u must use for best result antenna long as 7500/750x4=40 sm ( antenna length=radio wave) or just 1/2 =20 sm or 1/4 length wave =10 sm( but 20 sm is 2 time less , for 10sm length power output is less about 4-8 time i forget how much less exactly) , u must connect one antenna to the RF out , other antenna in the same length u must connected on ground , and u must make orientation for both antennas on a same axis and parallel , also for good receive u must have the same antenna on receiver and much better if antennas on receiver and transmitter u made orientation parallel . formula for calculated length of antenna is -- L=7500/Fx4 ....where F = frequency in MHZ , L = length of antenna = length of radio wave.... material for antennas i recommend u Copper or Brass tube , diameter of tube about 0.3-0.8 sm this is for best result for best distance ..and sorry for my english .best regards

Re: Which Antenna for 750MHz

"mdturan20002000","sergio mariotti","MACRF". Thanks for your interest.

I mean omhic loss and SWR for efficiency. We asked our teacher and he approved µstrip. Frankly speaking i want to design interesting one. i think µstrip can answer our need.

If you design any Microstrip antenna before, can you say at which point i must be careful for good job.
with starting construction, i think i understand lots of unknown point.

thanks in advance.
with regards,

Try yagi antenna 13dB, 12 element

This is a geometry of antenna

Re: Which Antenna for 750MHz

thanks bsiswoyo
is there a good source book or other technical sheet for calculation and design of yagi antenna arrays ?
