hello

i am looking for some info on thermal printers and thermal printer modules.

specifically the type used in DYMO type label printers.
They are a thermal type printer not unlike those used in fax machines.

i would like to obtain the printing head component itself.
I have taken apart a dymo letra tag, and found the item i need, but would like one fresh so i dont have to bastardize the 34 pole ribbon connector that is stuck to the main circuitboard.

I would also like to know what the official classification for those orange semi transoarent ribbon connectors you get in all electronic devices are called, and the little flip up connectors are called that they slot and clamp into.

So if anyone knows where i can get thermal print heads, or anything about their electronic implementaion, please let me know.

thanks a lot

i have included and image of what im talking about
