Where to get some designs of FPGA boards?

can any1 help me!
i wanna design a (fpga board)....
this board is able to download some circuit design on this board via parallel port through an eprom ! , jus' like the XS40 kit but, it z lil' complicated !
if any1 can help me in this wit web sites bout those stuff ... i'll really appreciate it,

It's also helpful to examine a working design. Maybe buy and study an inexpensive development board, such as this kit from Xilinx:
