Hi All,

We are doing a prototype run of an FPGA board and require at least 6 (would be willing to purchase a few more if necessary) 1Gbit Ethernet Tranciever ICs.
They need to be ones compatible with RJ45 and 1000Base-T.

Some examples are: Marvell: Alaska 88E1111, Agere 1011, or Broadcom BCM5421.

Samples are scarce (less than 6) and places like Digikey don't cater for the RJ45 compatible type (fiber and coax only).

Can anyone suggest where to get some please?

Thanks in advance,

TC

I believe Digikey has National Semi's Gigabit PHY.
