When to use set_flaten_model -latcn_transparent and latchfold in LEC?

Hi

I am new to this LEC tool.
I need to clarify small doubt.

In script, they r using set_flaten_model -latcn_transparent and latchfold

In which situation, we have to use this constraints.
When i come to know, this problem is going to rise..
I know what is latchfold that stuffs.

But how they r using this command before LEC mode.
