At the beginning , I think you should have some knowledge on MOSFET modeling in SPICE foe example , what is the BSim3v3 modeling for MOSFET . SOme books discuss on this subject .
while sedra gives an analysis at elementary level... gray and meyer does a more detailed analysis at different levels... I suggest gray and meyer wud b better of the two for ur needs...
Hi all
for ac &dc analysis of BJT AND MOSFET the best books one can c are
integrated electronic by millman halkies
electronic principles by neshelsky and boylsted
if u want a good theoritical approach u can also refer to streetman (but takes a long time to understand and study)
Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits by Behzad razavi is a very good one for beginning
learn deep in device model and spice model can do good for understanding the circuit
some spice mannual is good one to learn
I would not recomend Sedra and smith, what you might do is go to nearest library (preferably university library) and read couple of books... one book may have something other book doesn't have and vice versa. I learned that if you really want to get to know some topic you can't depend on one single book.
i would suggest you to go to www.allaboutcircuits.com
this is a good site as it presents a good and detailed description about the spice models and also about the configuration methods while also explaning about the basics of the BJT and MOSFET
