What will be the diffraction pattern if X-ray in place of Na light for a grating

Dear all,

Plz let me know the effect of using X-ray in place of Sodium light in the pattern of diffraction for a diffraction grating.

Diffraction is bending of waves around small obstacles and the spreading out of waves past small openings. If you replace sodium light source with X-ray in case normal diffraction grating, you will not have diffraction pattern because wavelength of X-ray is very small.
