Voltages aren't analog/digital. Signals are.
If there are 2 states possible (low and high) for a signal, then that signal is digital.
So,when you say 220VAC, it on it's own doesn't really mean anything. But if you say 0 to 5 V, then you can say something.
If only 0V and 5V are possible for the signal, then the signal is digital (0V low, 5V high).
But if the voltage may vary and be any voltage between 0V and 5V, the signal is analog.
