hi,
what must be the desired output in dBm at IF port of a passive mixer,
the simulation shows the desired result but practically LO only can be seen in spec analyzer
it appears that diodes(Single balanced mixer) which i am using for mixing are not turning on(practically), the data sheet says that diode (HSMS-2822) has 340mV turn on voltage at 1 mA, i am using HB simulation in @DS, how can i measure the input voltage to diode ,is it RMS value, while using a power sources at LO and RF.
should i bias the diode to make it turn on, i have tried in simulation but it didnt help.
is this relation correct for power source ...P=V²/R, R=50Ω
