Can somebody please identify the component in the image.
What is it? Is there any alternative to this and where do I get a new one?
It is from an ac voltage regulator. It is working but buzzing annoyingly.
Your question indicate that you most probably have not enough knowledge in electronics neither awareness of risks involved in trying to fix it. By the way, it's a magnectic core that could be used as a line filter before regulator or a transformer for an inverter. Hard to say without knowing the context where it's applyed. There could be any turn ratio, core material, etc...
