what is the type of microprocessor used in 8051 microcontroller ?

diffrence 8085 and 8051

hi,their is many type of it.here is some of it and the manufacture
Atmel corp : 89series (89c51,89c52,89C55,89S51,89S52,89s53,89s8252...) all of it have internal Eprom

Cygnal corp : 8051 fast speed,Flash,A/D 12 bits

Intel corp : 80C51GB , 80C51S1.....

Philips corp: P89V51RD2.etc...
SSI: 80X52,2XHDLC , version use for MODEM
another manufacture :
Dallas ( have battery store)
Matra(version low voltage)
Infineon (80C501 to 80C157A)
SMC (COM20051 support "token bus" ARCNET)
OKI (80c51/31 ,80c154) , ......etc
I like use 89s52
you can search it on internet.

peripherals of microcontroller like timers,

ATMEL microcontrollers uses 8051 instructions.Good thing is, it is Flash based, u can program it 100,000 times write cycles.

89c2051,manufacture

First of all, you have to understand the difference between microprocessors and microcontrollers. Microprocessors are oriented toward memory operations and most of the time lack of internal peripherals, while microcontrollers are oriented toward I/O operations (like interfacing with the real world) and most of them have a large set of internal peripherals, like timers, serial ports, A/D converters, etc

8085 instruction set by ramesh babu

8 bit simple microporcessor like 8085 buit not 8086.

instruction set of 8051 microcontroller

Hi shiveshdubey
are you sure from this information that 8085 is used in 8051 ?

what is the difference between 8051 8085?

No, 8085 and 8051 use completely different instruction set, not the same.

matra 8051

i want a complete information of microprocessor 8051 with all basics

microprocessor 8085 by ramesh babu

Hi.

Microprocessor does not have memory in built.

Microcontrollers have inbuilt memory, flash based so that users can download their bit files thousands of times.

Basically Most of the microcontrollers are Intel 8051 based architecture.

A lots of information in internet vailable. Check wikipedia.org.

Thanks

80c154 instruction set

8051 is a microcontroller not a microprocessor

differences between 8085 and 8051

Exactly 8051 is a microcontroller (the difference between microprocessor and microcontroller is that microcontroller has many types of built-in peripherals, memories, timers etc. and microprocessor is just the chip which needs all this things to be added more or less :) )
