what is the disadvantage of defining the procedure before..???
what is the advantage of defining procedure at line 100 and calling at line 40??
Hai sunray,
I referred some site and did it.. enjoy
foreach line ( "`cat input`" )
if("$line" =~ *fatal*)then
echo $line >> fatal;
else if("$line" =~ *necessary*)then
echo $line >> necessary;
endif
end
- - - Updated - - -
foreach line ( "`cat /export/cshell_code/folder/subfoldername/input`" )
if("$line" =~ *fatal*)then
echo $line >> fatal;
else if("$line" =~ *necessary*)then
echo $line >> necessary;
endif
end
Mention the path name as i mentioned
In tcl
while calling the variable declare as
${A}_${B}..
Can do the Same in cshell script..
In c shell u can call like this
setenv cvar C
echo $cvar
echo "${cvar}_"
in tcl if A and B are environmental variable
we can use {} to indicate the start and end of variable so that we can separate other things
EX:- _
puts "${env(A)}_"
puts "${env(B)}_"
It will work fine..
Hai sunray,
Please review my previous post i have said same
I asked the questions in the same context of name of a directory. So please reply how I can name the directory for which you wrote for tcl the syntax is ${A}_${B}.
is same so answer is
${A}_${B}
What is the command to list the contents of the two variables A and B in tcl? Will the following command work? If not, please let me know the syntax.
list { $A $B}
answer is
puts "$a $b"
I dont know about in unix
Also please make ur question more clear regarding tcl..
is $a and $b are separate variables or it is separate list??
also whether u need both variable values in another variable??
or two list to another list??
Hsi sunray,
set x 1
set y 2
set c [list $x $y]
Here c is a list contains the value of two seperate variables..
sure..
can u please repeat the question clearly...
