what is "RB" in the term RB CPW (RB Coplanar Waveguide)?
I have searched this on the net and some books I could get my hands on;even asked designers/engineers who have been dealing with RF designs for years, but no one seems to remember what the "RB" stands for.
I thank all of you who reply in advance.

Never heard. Could you please specify the complete context in which the term is used ? I mean the whole sentence.

This applies to impedance simulation for bare pcb manfacturing. This is a model designator for impedance modelling for RF signals. Most impedance modelling packages- Apsim, Polar, etc. have this designator.
The actual topography of the circuitry would be a signal trace referencing to two ground traces on either side.

Guys, see this attachment. look at the second impedance model. It is tagged as RB-CPW Microstrip. What does the "RB" stand for?
Perhaps... "Rectangular-balanced Coplanar Waveguide " !!!
