what is the power dissipated in 2 ohm resistor when input current is

i(t)=2+((2√2)cos(2t+45°))+2sin2t

please help?

you have to get average value of signal or effective value of signal then use I(square)R formula

The average value will give the wrong answer. You need to calculate the effective (RMS) value of the current.
