What is the maximum speed of 18f4550 ADC?

Hi every one

can any one tel me the max speed of 18f4550 ADC, is it suitable for using it to digitize audio signals ?

18f4550 ADC speed ?

Once i heared some one could make it go up to 100ksps but i belive in normal situations your not going to make it go more than 20ksps. Any way its not a good frequency for audio signals.. you should have something like 200ksps or more... A dspic or pic32 would do the job.. You can use an external AD but i dont know the limit you can go...
