what is the diffrence between f0=√(fH×fL) and f0=(fH-fL)/2?

so, what is the differnce between RL-filters and RC- filters? Which is the best?

Re: what is the diffrence between f0=√(fH×fL) and

the first is called geometric mean, the second is called arithmetic mean. (these are averages)

if you construct a bandpass filter from low and high pass filters, the center frequency is the geometric mean. It is a mistake to use the arithmetic mean

RC filter would be a lowpass, RL would be a highpass.
