ASSET TRACKING

For you, what is the best wireless technology for tracking assets across a small, medium and large field/range?

Is the right choice rfid/zigbee (small range), gsm/cdma (medium range), sattelite (large range)?

Please post your opinions, thnx in advance.

Re: ASSET TRACKING

Also consider:
UWB
Hybrid use of the technologies you mentioned.

ASSET TRACKING

I Guess UWB is too costlier for Asset tracking kinda applications... RFID is most feasible
