Hello,
I have certain home made acoustic sensors, whose response needs to be calibrated in a plane wave coupler. I will have to compute the transfer function (both amp and phs) of the sensor with respect to its input signal in the range of 0.1 Hz to 1000 Hz.
Presently, I am using linear chirp signal as the input and computing the response with a least square filter that assumes that there are no harmonics and no reflections from the other end of the coupler. I will not be getting true response in presence of harmonics or reflections.
What other methods are available to analyze chirp data containing harmonics and possible reflections? Any advise on whether "chirp" is a good way to go about this. Any other alternatives to chirp.
