[SOLVED] what is Scalar (V/f) Control of 3-Phase Induction Motors

For standard motors:

1- Below plate RPM, they operate at constant torque, variable power mode.
2- Above plate RPM they operate at variable torque, constant power mode.

You can't operate constant torque above plate RPM because that would mean a power output in excess of its design ratings. Continuous operation in such a region would mean overheating and reduced life expectancy.
