what is P.I.R sensors?

I don't know what is in the pdf link, probably will tell you all you need to know. However a quick explanation is that PIR sensors are Passive Infared Sensors, they will detect a body that has a certain temperature moving in front of another body which has a differnet temperature than the 1st. As you know doubt know they are used extensivley in home alarm systems to detect intruders.
