I have been looking for analog design job in China after I got laid off one year ago. After submitting many applications, I have received NO response. Can someone tell me why?

My background
master degree in microelectronics from university of toronto, canada.
8 year Canada and U.S. working experience in analog design (USB2.0, PLL, etc.)
asked for local (china) salary package
currently living in hong kong

strange... sounds like you have a good background.

maybe your resume has a spelling mistake?

You should now that you are over-qualified as an engineer, but not qualified as a manager.

if that's the case, then leave out some stuff on your resume.. like masters degree. and apply for mid level engienering position.

once you're in.. then you can WOW them with your ability and quickly rise to manager position.
