I think you might asking electric geraing for servo motor especially on this board.Since servo driver can accept various command input like position command(pulse),velocity cmd(voltage),torque cmd(voltage) with a specific cmd like 10000pulse/rev and various motor encoder feedback can be connected for closed loop control for 2500 pulse/rev or .... .
If you want let cmd input and encoder feedback at same level or doing some modification you might think about using gear box but everything is happen on servo driver where could i put a gear box into it,that's why manufacturer build eceltrical gear on driver and make it happen.
