Hi all,

Please can someone answer this question that what is 'DIGITAL DATA CLOCK' in an ADC.

What I have understood is this, that it is the digital counter part of Analog (-side-of-ADC) sampling clock,
i.e. but can any one explain this IFFF this is true.

And if this is trues then is its frequency and Phase completely same as that of sampling clock?

Bests,
Shan

it depends on which ADC you are talking about.

And in general, the answer is -- No. It is not the same as sampling clock. It is the clock used by the adc to convert an already sampled real-time signal into its digital equivalent.
